Formal Extracts
Customers will be able to order formal extract copies of records from the ScotlandsPeople Centre.
Just fill out the required form available in the search rooms, take it to the supervisor to check and pay for the extract there. Each extract costs £8. (A priority service is available if you go to the Extract Services counter in New Register House). The extract will then be sent out to you or be available for collection from New Register House.
